Alors que les fans attendaient Keanu Reeves ou Daniel Radcliffe, c'est finalement Oscar Isaac qui interprètera Moon Knight, l'un des prochains héros du MCU à avoir droit à sa série sur Disney+. Ce justicier doté de superpouvoirs est appelé à devenir l'un des grands visages du MCU dans les prochaines phases.
Et pour Oscar Isaac, il s'agit d'une nouvelle franchise puisque, après avoir joué Apocalypse dans l'univers X-Men, il s'est aussi illustré ces dernières années en tant que Poe Dameron dans la dernière trilogie Star Wars.
Pour toute une génération, elle reste la Reine Amidala, fervente souveraine de la planète Naboo et grand amour du Jedi Anakin Skywalker. Après la fin de la pré-trilogie, Natalie Portman a brillamment poursuivi sa carrière d'actrice, décrochant au passage l'Oscar de la meilleure actrice pour Black Swan.
Et elle a aussi décidé de rejoindre une autre galaxie, celle de l'Univers Cinématographique Marvel. Depuis le premier Thor, elle est Jane Foster, grand amour de l'Avenger, et reviendra d'ailleurs dans le prochain fil, Thor Love and Thunder.
Après une courte apparition dans Avengers Age of Ultron, Ulysse Klaue a eu droit à une partition plus développée dans Black Panther. Ce grand vilain de l'univers Marvel était alors incarné par Andy Serkis, dont on connaît plus les prouesses en motion capture : Gollum, Cesar dans La Planète des Singes...
Une prouesse que l'acteur a de nouveau mise à profit pour Disney en incarnant le mystérieux Snoke dans la dernière trilogie Star Wars. Un méchant aux origines douteuses, qui pourrait d'ailleurs avoir un lien avec The Mandalorian...
S'il fallait absolument choisir un acteur qui incarne le mieux le côté cool et la pop culture sur grand écran, il faut bien avouer que le nom de Samuel L. Jackson s'imposerait assez logiquement. Dans la pré-trilogie Star Wars, il est Mace Windu, maître Jedi fidèle soutien de Yoda et valeureux combattant avec son sabre violet (dont voici la raison d'une telle couleur).
Et l'acteur fétiche de Quentin Tarantino a poussé le game un peu plus loin en devenant dès 2008 et le premier Iron Man l'interprète de Nick Fury, directeur du SHIELD et à l'origine de la formation des Avengers...
L'acteur danois a mis du temps à s'imposer sur grand écran mais il est aujourd'hui l'un des acteurs les plus demandés et les plus en vue. Comme s'il fallait absolument rattraper le retard, il s'est même permis de rejoindre l'univers Marvel et Star Wars coût sur coût.
Et le tout dans la même année puisqu'en 2016, on a pu le voir dans Rogue One, le spin-off de Star Wars, puis dans Doctor Strange, où il interprète le traître Kaecilius.
La Force est désormais puissante au Wakanda puisqu'après Andy Serkis, on retrouve une autre pensionnaire de l'univers Star Wars en la personne de Lupita Nyong'o. Celle qui incarne Nakia, alliée et love interest de T'Challa dans Black Panther, est aussi celle qui a donné vie à Maz Kanata dans la dernière trilogie.
Dans Star Wars Les Derniers Jedi, les spectateurs ont eu la bonne surprise de découvrir Benicio Del Toro sous les traits d'un malfrat nommé DJ, à la morale douteuse et aux ambitions principalement attirées par l'argent...
Un personnage qui n'est pas sans rappeler celui que l'acteur interprétait dans le MCU : le Collectionneur. Un être supérieur seulement intéressé par la collection d'objets toujours plus rares et plus puissants.
Avec son mètre 99, Spencer Wilding n'est pas l'acteur le plus réputé mais son physique lui a permis comme tant d'acteurs avant lui d'incarner plusieurs drôles de créatures du cinéma. En 2014, c'est lui qui essaye le lecteur cassette de Peter Quill lors de son emprisonnement au Kyln dans Les Gardiens de la Galaxie.
L'année d'après, le Britannique ajoute sans doute l'un des rôles les plus convoités du cinéma : celui de Dark Vador. C'est lui qui se glisse dans le costume du Seigneur Sith (dont voici 10 choses à savoir) dans Rogue One, le temps de quelques scènes.
Véritable succès de l'année 2018, Spider-Man New Generation a propulsé sur grand écran le concept de multiverse, qui a visiblement donné des idées au MCU. Dans ce film d'animation, l'un des grands méchants est Le Rôdeur, qui est en réalité l'oncle de Miles Morales.
Un personnage qui est justement apparu dans le MCU, dans Spider-Man Far From Home, sous les traits de Donald Glover. L'année d'après, il intègre l'univers Star Wars en reprenant un rôle culte : celui de Lando Calrissian dans le spin-off consacré à Han Solo.
Paul Bettany et le MCU c'est une belle histoire puisqu'il n'a pas incarné un seul rôle, mais bien deux. Il a d'abord prêté sa voix à l'intelligence JARVIS, fidèle support de Tony Stark. Puis il a incarné l'androïde Vision dès son apparition dans Avengers Age of Ultron.
Si le personnage de Vision a un peu déçu par rapport à ce que l'on espérait de lui, cela n'a pas empêché Paul Bettany de rejoindre à son tour la galaxie Star Wars. Dans le spin-off consacré à Han Solo, il incarne le terrible Dryden Vos. Et il y a quelques semaines, nous avons retrouvé l'acteur dans le rôle de Vision, pour la série Disney+ WandaVision.
Après une brillante carrière entamée depuis plusieurs années déjà, Forest Whitaker fait partie de ces acteurs qui ont décidé de s'amuser un peu en rejoignant Marvel et Star Wars. En 2016, il joue donc dans Rogue One et incarne Saw Gerrera, un allié de la Rébellion.
Puis, en 2018, il est Zuri, l'un des personnages essentiels de la mythologie de Black Panther. Ce dernier connaît malheureusement un sort funeste, comme Saw Gerrera, et ne devrait donc pas revenir dans Black Panther 2, qui comptera 3 méchants emblématiques au casting...
L'une des scènes les plus emblématiques de Captain America First Avenger est assurément celle où Steve Rogers, tout juste transformé en super-soldat, découvre ses nouveaux "pouvoirs" en poursuivant un espion du nom d'Heinz Kruger, à la solde l'organisation HYDRA.
Le personnage est interprété par Richard Armitage, futur interprète de Thorin dans la trilogie du Hobbit. L'acteur avait aussi pointé le bout de son nez dans Star Wars, en incarnant un pilote dans La Menace Fantôme.
