On commence par l'immanquable, l'inévitable, celui que tous possesseurs de Nintendo Switch se doivent d'avoir : Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Chaque épisode de la prolifique série est un évènement et le dernier titre en date ne déroge pas à la règle. Toujours plus de pilotes, de karts, de niveaux, toujours plus fou... bref, voilà le titre parfait pour passer des soirées endiablées entre amis.
Une fois que vous avez montré à vos amis que vous êtes le plus fort (bien qu'on ne s'en lasse pas, avouez-le), l'heure est venue de se confronter au monde entier. Avec la possibilité de jouer jusqu'à 12 en simultanée, vous n'avez pas fini de faire le kart.
En cette année 2020 bien particulière, l'une des rares bonnes nouvelles de l'année pour beaucoup de possesseurs de Nintendo Switch a sans doute été l'arrivée d'Animal Crossing : New Horizons. Le cinquième opus de la série a longtemps été attendu et n'a clairement pas déçu : les bases de cette simulation de vie sont reprises et tout simplement améliorées pour offrir une expérience de jeu quasi-illimitée.
Y a-t-il encore besoin de présenter Pokémon ? Véritable carton depuis plus de 20 ans, la franchise créée par Satoshi Tajiri attire toujours petits et grands, grâce notamment à son succès dans les jeux vidéo. La preuve une fois avec Epée et Bouclier, les derniers épisodes sortis en novembre dernier.
Cette fois, direction la région de Galar où vous aurez le plaisir d'explorer les moindres recoins de cette région inspirée du Royaume-Uni, de partir à la chasse aux Pokémon ou encore de vous frotter aux meilleurs dans les bons vieux combats d'arènes. Mention spéciale aux "Dynamax", ces Pokémon plus grands et plus puissants qui viennent corser un peu plus le challenge... mais il faut bien ça pour devenir le meilleur dresseur, non ?
Vous vous attendiez vraiment à ce qu'il n'y ait aucun jeu Mario dans ce Top 10 ? Un fait tout bonnement impossible tant le plombier moustachu ne cesse de cartonner là où il passe, et ce n'est pas sur la Switch que nous allons pouvoir dire le contraire. La preuve avec Super Mario Odyssey, l'une des meilleures aventures du héros depuis bien longtemps.
Dans ce vaste jeu de plateforme, notre héros va tout simplement voyager dans différents royaumes pour sauver Peach, une nouvelle fois enlevée par Bowser. Entre des mondes qui rendent hommage aux précédentes aventures de Mario et des endroits comme New Donk City, référence à New York, ces mondes ouverts en 3D vont vous occuper pendant un bon moment.
Que serait une console Nintendo sans une aventure épique de Link et Zelda ? Ce serait un sacrilège tout simplement... mais heureusement la Switch n'a pas de soucis à se faire de ce côté-là puisqu'elle a déjà eu droit à son génialissime hit avec Breath of the Wild.
Après un sommeil de plus d'un siècle, Link se réveille seul dans un monde qu'il ne reconnaît pas. Le héros légendaire va désormais devoir explorer un territoire vaste et dangereux et retrouver la mémoire avant qu'Hyrule ne soit perdu à jamais. Avec un univers toujours plus vaste et plus beau que jamais, l'expérience est tout simplement incroyable sur Switch.
Au même titre qu'un Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fait assurément partie de ces jeux qu'il faut absolument posséder. Le cinquième épisode de la série Super Smash Bros. repousse un peu plus les limites du combat d'arène. Pour l'occasion, de nouveaux personnages sont disponibles tels que Ridley de la série Metroid, Simon Belmont de la série Castlevania ou encore Marie, figure bien connue des joueurs d'Animal Crossing.
De nouveaux objets, de nouvelles attaques ou encore de nouvelles options défensives, on vous garantit qu'il vous faudra du temps pour maîtriser tous les ressorts du jeu, qui plus est dans la centaine de stages disponibles. Et puis, y a-t-il un meilleur jeu que celui-là pour se défouler entre amis ou en famille ?
Parce qu'il n'y a pas que Zelda et Mario sur Nintendo Switch, les possesseurs de Nintendo Switch peuvent depuis peu se projeter dans un univers bien différent : celui du Sorceleur Geralt de Riv. Après avoir cartonné sur consoles et PC, le titre de CD Projekt Red a en effet eu droit à son portage, et on vous assure que c'est une bonne idée.
Certes, les capacités techniques de la console Nintendo ne permettent pas de donner au jeu toute sa beauté mais depuis quelques semaines, il est désormais possible de partager ses sauvegardes avec la version PC. La prochaine fois que vous devrez vous déplacer, vous pourrez donc reprendre avec la Switch votre partie, là où vous l'aviez laissée sur PC. Sans oublier que les graphismes ont aussi été revus à la hausse pour l'occasion.
Plutôt que de chercher à concurrencer Call of Duty ou Battlefield avec un FPS similaire, Nintendo a eu une idée de génie avec la série des Splatoon : un jeu de tir à la troisième personne où des personnages au design de cartoon se tire dessus... à coup d'encres et de bombes de peinture.
Sorti en 2017, Splatoon reprend les bases de cette recette réussie et se permet d'y ajouter quelques améliorations au niveau des customisations et des contenus. Voilà un titre où l'on prend plaisir à jouer à plusieurs et qui résume parfaitement le travail de Nintendo : fun et coloré.
Le grand classique du RPG est disponible sur Nintendo Switch... et quel régal. Dans cette aventure qui nous plonge au sein d'un monde ravagé par une invasion dévastatrice, le joueur devra parcourir et percer les secrets du monde de Monado.
Prenez le jeu originel, rajoutez-lui un nouveau chapitre, des graphismes haute définition absolument saisissants, des mécaniques de jeu plus fluides ou encore une bande-son remasterisée et vous obtenez là le jeu qui pourrait bien vous plonger dans un autre univers pendant des heures et des heures.
Certes, la Switch Edition ne sortira que le 19 juin prochain mais on vous conseille de vous intéresser à ce jeu. Si vous souhaitez vous reposer après des parties endiablées de Mario Kart ou après avoir combattu pendant des heures dans les terres d'Hyrule, un peu de dépaysement et de gestion ne vous fera pas de mal.
Avec Railway Empire, vous voilà avec une mission assez périlleuse : bâtir votre propre empire ferroviaire en reliant par train différentes villes de l'Amérique de la fin 18ème / début 19ème siècle. L'objectif est ensuite de développer vos gares pour devenir un vrai magnat du chemin de fer.
